2023 Meredith Gardens Scholarship Winners!!
Jill Rosenzweig
Jill (pictured on the left) prides herself on hard work, perseverance, and pushing herself to exceed. She takes education very seriously, always putting homework and studying first. In addition to being an exemplary student, she has been a student athlete throughout her four years at Edison High School. Indoor volleyball has been an integral part of her life since middle school, participating in both club and school teams. The Rosenzweig family has lived in Meredith Gardens since Jill was five years old. Jill plans to attend California State University Fullerton, majoring in Business Administration, with an emphasis in Human Resources Management.
Lauren Knowlton
Lauren made her strong presence known at Edison High School, by participating in Charger Connections, the California Scholarship Federation, National Honor Society, Model United Nations, the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Club, and Surfrider Foundation, as well as participating on club and school volleyball teams, the last four years. Wanting to see change in the world, Lauren believes in taking initiative and working hard. Lauren and her family moved to Meredith Gardens when she was ten years old. Lauren plans to attend Purdue University as an Economics major, with a Minor in both Political Science and Statistics, possibly pursuing a Masters degree in Economics or Business Administration.
Kiera McInally
For Kiera (pictured on the right), community is something that she loves and resonates with in her daily life. As a frequent volunteer for Beach Cities’ Kids Games, she enjoyed giving back. Kiera attended Edison High School and also participated in the Academy of Performing Arts (APA) at Huntington High School, as well. The McInally family has lived in Meredith Gardens since Kiera was eight years old. Kiera has been performing all over Huntington Beach and the surrounding OC area since she was little and expanding her horizons to perform in new and exciting places is Kiera’s dream. Kiera will be attending Berklee College of Music, in Boston, in the fall.
